Tournament History

The Cottage Grove Runnin' with the Wolves Tournament is now in its fourth year.  Each year gets a little easier but also presents new challenges.  The tournament committee is comprised of volunteer parents of children in the soccer program who dedicate many hours of their precious time to make this tournament happen.  The core of the committee is the same group of individuals who got the tournament started 4 years ago!

We had over 120 teams last year!  The weather presented some challenges, but overall we had some great soccer (several shoot-outs!) and lots of fun!  We consider this a "gear up" tournament-a chance for your team to get their feet wet and see how things are shaping up.  We hope to provide that same function again this year.

New challenges this year included new competition for teams (fishing opener, Mother's Day, and two new tournament choices).  To compensate we have come up with several exciting additions to the day including games of skill, flowers for mothers, and a daily news brief.

We may not have been around as long as some other tournaments but we pay attention to details and hope to continue to provide teams with an enjoyable weekend!
